As a beautiful May rolls in and spring fever hits full force, I thought maybe all of us homeschooling mommies could use a little fresh inspiration for teaching our children. Here are a couple of posts that are inspiring me today:

Two Quotes on the Amish View of Education
I’d love it if you’d share your favorite posts in the comments section. What’s inspiring you?

Thank you so much for sharing these links! I’ve been reading on education in general – these have been on my list:
On universities: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/02/opinion/02edmundson.html?src=me&ref=general
On CLS v. Martinez (a SupCt case with major implications for Christian students): http://www.popecenter.org/commentaries/article.html?id=2342
I wrote a blog post today that touches on similar issues (http://atranquilheart.blogspot.com/2010/05/examined-life.html).

Aw yey! Thanks for linking to me!
It was so nice to hear about the teacher deciding to homeschool. I enjoy the education perspective/ mom perspective. It’s a hard decision for some. I think I decided to homeschool when I was finishing up my teaching degree (no kids yet). It’s so hard to get an education in the “system”. Nice links.
Here’s a post (it’s the first in a series) that meant a lot to me lately. The Boyers are great!
