Teaching a child to work hard and take responsibility is a great lesson, but I agree there needs to be wisdom in deciding what level of responsibility is appropriate to a child&#039;s age and role in the family—which doesn&#039;t always come naturally in a large family with many needs.</description>

		<description>I recently made mention to a lady about my children, if I ever having any, helping out with the farm and garden work.  She replied, “That a pipe-line dream.”  I do not think it is a dream.  Children should be taught to work.</description>
